Will Lindsay Lohan take a hiatus from acting?

The partying “Mean Girls” star says she loves to travel to foreign countries where she can blend in with the locals — and may take a year off to do just that.

Lohan, 20, has become one of the most photographed, sought after stars in the world, but has complained about the pressure of stardom. And in a rare break from Hollywood protocol, she has been criticized by some of her co-stars and bosses for her on-set behavior — with one of the execs from a production company saying that her absences on the set of her new film “Georgia Rule” were the acts of “a spoiled child.”

“I might take a vacation — take a year off,” Lohan recently said, reports WENN. “I want to travel and learn more about other cultures. The more I’ve grown up, the more I want to do that.”

It would be the smartest thing she could do, if it meant getting out of the spotlight and slowing down on the partying. I'm still, STILL holding out hope for La Lohan.

Okay, go on then. I'll be the last to complain if I don't hear abot Blohan on a daily basis. I just hope we're spared those photos of Lindsay (hung with jewelry) in an African village. I'm tired of those!

"I want to travel and learn more about other cultures"=I want to party in foreign countries without having to worry about showing up sloshed on a filmset for work the next morning.
