October 13, 2006 -- ALEC Baldwin still has a hot temper. The actor was photographed Wednesday screaming at a cop who was directing traffic away from the Cory Lidle plane crash site on East 72nd Street. Then, a few hours later at Grand Havana Room, Baldwin loudly asked the hostess for a working telephone. "I asked you a question in English and I would like an answer in English. Do you have a working phone in that room? . . . That is outrageous. That is totally unacceptable." Baldwin's rep said he was simply asking the cop for directions and, "Alec would never ever make fun of someone's English."

There was a picture of him, screaming at the cop in the NY Post. He didn't look like he was simply asking for directions. Looked like he was really giving the cop a hard time--this based on body language. He looks like hell too...

I rewatched 'Ghosts of Mississippi' last night and he was really good in it, save his crappy, ridiculous southern accent. Too bad he's such a douche in real life. His kid will be 18 before he and Kim Bassinger quit being asses about custody.

He's a great actor, I love watching him in his roles, but what a pompous ass indeed! Probably screaming at the cop thinking he should be accorded some flipping honor because he IS alec baldwin, dammit!

Remember when he made that statement, on the Conan O'Brien show, about Congressman Henry Hyde?

Unfortunately, often talented artists are not the nicest people. Asshole Alec is probably a prime example.
