Diddy claims he never loved ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.

The hip-hop mogul has admitted that throughout his relationship with J.Lo he was still in love with Kim Porter, the mother of his eight-year-old son, Christian, and the woman who is now pregnant with his twin daughters.
Diddy, 36, said: "When I was with Jennifer I got caught up. She was fine."

"The hype can pull you together, and it's feeling good, and the relationship is genuine. There was love there, but it just wasn't this type of love."
The rapper, real name Sean Combs, sings about Lopez - who is now married to Latin star Marc Antony - and Porter on his new album "Press Play."

But Diddy insists the mother of his children was his true muse.
He said: "The relationship that gave me the most inspiration was the relationship with Kim."

"It's my most long-term relationship. It's had a lot of ups and downs, and it made for a lot of great songs."

Diddy and Porter dated in the 90s and had son Christian together.
The rap star was in a high profile relationship with Lopez in 2000 but they split within a year and in 2003 he and Porter rekindled their romance.
She is now pregnant with twin girls and Diddy has vowed to make her his wife.

The star also has a 12-year-old son, Justin, from a previous relationship.

i actually think the inverse is true, he was never really in love with kim porter but madly in love with j lo. I think hes saying all this now bc he knows jlo is gone for good and hes got about 11 kids w kim now so shell e around forever one way or another...

Agree with everyone. WHO THE HELL CARES. We're talking 5 yrs ago, let it go. And of course he's going to say these things. Were we born yesterday?? Not this group of folks Diddy or whatever the hell your name is.

I actually agree with this - and perhaps it's damage control for something that has somewhat been talked about (the "realtionship" with one of Danity Kaine's members).

Maybe Kim found out something that put the Diddy in the Doggy House.

I agree, FF...Total bs. Diddy's just saying this stuff to get brownie points with his pregnant fiancee. After all, like you said, he has some kids with her, and she has (like a pathetic fool) stuck around even as he had other relationships (i.e. with J-Lo), so he feels he "owes it to her", especially with her presently carrying around two of his babies in her stomach, to publicly announce that SHE was always the one he was in love with, not J-Lo. (But...Yeah right! Like you said, it was so obviously J-Lo he was madly in love with, and probably still is. The way he's still bringing up J-Lo after all these years, and downplaying their relationship, makes it obvious that J-Lo is still on his mind...And usually when someone denies something, the way he's doing here, means what he's denying IS true.) Just trying to get/keep himself out of the dog-house.

Yeah i remember that too, Prnjcq. I also remember other references by him about J-Lo being the *great love of his life*. I vaguely remember, in some song he had 2 or 3 years ago, he was rapping about the so-called one that got away...he said in the song, "You're the one i'm always gonna miss." and a bunch of other stuff that showed he was still madly in love with her...and he confirmed in an interview that the stuff he said in the song was about J-Lo.
