Ted Casablanca and E!

So this is the whole reason I joined the forum. I'm a longtime reader of "The Awful Truth" on E! online. I really like Ted and where his heart's at, even though I have to have three cups of coffee before I can decode his column. Over the last few months he's dropped hints that there are ominous events in store for him at E! Lots of people noticed he's no longer appearing on E! news. Then I saw this on Jossip:

He's been hired to write a daily column for E! Online? Where does that leave Ted? This item was posted on September 14th, by the way. I registered to the forum then but there's been a delay until now of getting me activated. I'll try to be more current in the future!

I honestly don't know who Marc Malkin is, since I don't have cable and can't watch E!. Who is this guy? Maybe he'll write a good column, but I like my buddy Ted.

I think Ted has said that he would be leaving E! next year (I think next year) and that he was looking for a new place to land (or had already but couldn't talk about it yet). So this isn't a huge surprise. Not sure what exactly happened, for this to have come about, but maybe if he goes somewhere else he'll be a bit 'freer'??? So it might be a good thing.
I like him too, though I hate how he writes, I always read his column...

I hope it is a good move for him. But any time you get pushed out of a job it kind of sucks, I would think. I guess the real point of this thread is to give Ted this message from little old me: Ted, don't go home and become Miss Havisham Texas! Remember, you're fabulous!

Hi again and thanks for the replies. I've participated on some forums before and discovered I'm more of a reader than a talker. I made it up to 450 posts on one forum but it took about 5 years. I have to be pretty disturbed to start typing. Now what does that say about me that I'm disturbed about Ted Casablanca. Oh no.
Blind items are my guilty pleasure. I admit I've read nearly all of the Toothy Tile Thread and I stand in awe of some people's detective skills.

You guys are a fun and interesting crowd and the forum is impressive!

I heard Ted was moving as well. Should be interesting to see how well the new guy is. I never really liked Ted; I don't mind him but overall I think he's a bit... off. He sure knows how to create a fan-base though.

Plus Ted is tall and super hot; i was sad to learn of his orientation since i was crushing on him when i was a dumb kid who didnt kno my gays from my straighties.

I stopped reading his columns a couple of years ago because they gave me major headaches. He must have generated a lot of complaints. It seems to me that he was trying too hard to be different.

I love Ted's gossip, but I hate how he tells it. Gives me a headache and even then I can hardly decipher it.
