Actress Amanda Peet Weds

Studio 60 star, Amanda Peet 34, and Troy screenwriter David Benioff, 36,
were married Saturday at Friends Seminary, a Quaker school (Peet is an
alumnus) in New York City. The couple announced their engagement in July, 2005 after dating for four years. This is a first marriage for both.

The wedding was a black tie affair. Peet wore a strapless white dress with a
black sash. She carried a bouquet of large white, pink and cream roses. The
bride, who was all smiles, walked down the aisle to a string quartet playing
Beethoven's Piano Concerto.

"It was a beautiful event," says the actress' friend, Ken Witty. "Amanda
looked beautiful. They passed the rings around so every single person could
touch them, which was unusual, but nice."

Celebrity guests included actor Mark Ruffalo and actress Elizabeth Berkley.

"They were both glowing," Ruffalo tells Us.

After the wedding, guests were shuttled by bus to New York's Chelsea Art
Museum for the reception. Guests were treated to the sounds of Dexter Lake
Club, the band Peet and her husband selected for their big day.

The actress recently announced on the David Letterman Show
that she and Benioff are expecting their first child early next year.

I've always liked Amanda Peet (e.g. I can totally picture her as one of my girlfriends). Congrats to all three of them!!!!
