Default Matt Leblanc divorce final Oct. 6

Actor Matt Leblanc finalizes divorce, wins joint custody of daughter
LOS ANGELES (AP) — After a little more than three years of marriage, Matt Leblanc has finalized his divorce.

The 39-year-old former "Friends" star has been granted joint custody of his 2-year-old daughter with wife Melissa LeBlanc, according to court papers filed Wednesday. Melissa LeBlanc has two children from a previous marriage.

The LeBlancs filed for divorce on April 6, citing irreconcilable differences. They will be officially single again on Oct. 6.

Under the terms of the divorce, LeBlanc will be financially responsible for his daughter's education, nanny and other needs. He will also pay $15,000 a month in child support.
Calls to LeBlanc's attorney and his publicist after business hours Thursday were not immediately returned.

The pair married in a celebrity-studded wedding in Hawaii in 2003 with several of LeBlanc's "Friends" co-stars in attendance.

LeBlanc played struggling actor Joey Tribbiani in the long-running sit-com that ended in 2004. He reprised the character for the NBC spinoff "Joey," which was canceled in May after two seasons.

Too bad he's such an ass.

$15,000 a month in child support doesn't seem like a lot for someone that has his large bankroll from Friends. Doesn't she at least get a house?

I guess in celeb land $15,000 a month isn't much, but in the real world it's a shit load of money for one kid. Plus all the other things he is required to pay.

I get $1002 per month for 1 child. I am lucky that I don't need it to support us so I can bank it for her college, etc. I feel bad for the Mom's who get no support. I don't think the non custodial parent should have to pay so much that they can't afford to support themselves anymore but they should have to pay part based on income levels. In this case I would assume he has made sure they have a home and he will pick up all costs plus pay support. I'll bet 15k per month goes really fast in LA.

I have two kids and get nada in the way of support. We're lucky if my annual income is 15 000.

I am a complete believer that you should pay an amount of child upport that is proportionate to the amount you earn.

i actually don't think $15,000 is a lot at all, given that he is probably earning up to 10 times that in interest on his previous earnings alone.

Obviously i'm not privy to his earnings but it does sound like she was't prepared to put up any kind of fight at all. I am convinced she could have got more for her daughter. OK, fair point would be that what child needs more than that but when paying a nanny, clothes, food, schooling, even keeping a roof over the child's head that is in similar standard to the non-custodial parent, I'm sure $15,000 a month will be seriously eaten in to, if not diminished.

remember he will be paying for the nanny, all medical bills, tuition for school and college when she gets there, in addition to the 15k per month. She is probably getting the house too. They had a pre-nup so she probably got more money from that. This 15k per month is just child support.

It's additional Hush money for her to keep the secret that he's really gay...
You were lucky to have me. But you know what? I think I already got the best part of you. And she's standing right out there. I don't know... what's left just doesn't look so good anymore. Hope Floats

The Web site TMZ.com stated the couple have a confidential pre-nuptial agreement. Melissa LeBlanc is waiving spousal support, and instead is getting cash.

Hmm. Does that mean an additional lump sum? That kind of sounds more like it.
