Hasselhoff Daughter Attempts Suicide

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that on of David Hasselhoff's daughter tried to commit suicide Sunday night.

It happened in the San Fernando Valley, a suburb of Los Angeles at around 6:30 p.m. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ David call 911 from his home and reported that his 14-year-old daughter had "cut herself."'

David Hasselhoff and estranged wife Pamela Bach have been going through a bitter divorce and custody fight. Hasselhoff had been accused of brutalizing Pam, restraining orders were issued, but many of the issues seem to have been resolved.

We're told the LAPD responded and 14-year-old Hayley Hasselhoff was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition is not being disclosed. The Mental Evaluation Unit of LAPD is now handling the case.

Maybe the Hoff should focus less on Princess Diana's obsession with him and more on the needs of his daughter.

In addition to making it illegal for celebrities to marry, they should also make it illegal for them to have children. Poor kid, having to go to school with this dumb ass as your father. It's sucks being a 14 year old girl as it is, but to have this humiliating boob as your dad makes puberty a thousand times worse!!

Hey, don't blame just him if you want to put blame somewhere. IMO both parents are responsible for making sure their kids are ok during a time like this. It is possible that she had problems before, and something pushed her over the edge...

I was going to write something similar. Lots of kids have two dumbass parents in teh middle of divorce but don't go slicing at themselves. It probably isn't easy being the Hoffs kid but on the other hand, I think it's kind of shitty that this incident made the papers, so to speak. She's a 14-year-old non-celeb and shouldn't be exposed like this.

Awww.....its hard being a 14 yr old teenager, and having parents going through a divorce, your father drunk all over the place making a complete ass of himself--cannot be helping. Hope she's ok...

Leave it to Grimmy to point out the bleeding obvious. He's right, though. Maybe now the parents will stop being stupid and petty and pay attention to what really matters.
