It is being reported that Katie Holmes is planning to play Victoria Beckham in a movie about her husband David's life.
Tom Cruise was the one to suggest the story of the soccer player's rise to fame to Paramount studios before he was dropped and they gave it a lot of thought before parting ways with the Hollywood heavyweight.
It is said that Katie was "moved" at the possibility of playing the former Spice Girl, who she has become good friends with over the past year after she asked for some advice during her pregnancy.
An insider revealed to Britain's The Daily Star newspaper; "Tom has a brilliant grasp of what the public want to see and thought David's story was wonderful.
A football star emerges from humble origins, there's drama within the matches and romance in his love affair with Victoria at the height of her pop star fame.
The quartet have become very close friends and the Beckhams would only be happy about their story being used if Tom and Katie were involved.
Katie is perfect to play a young Posh and has been working on her accent."
It is being said that Tom could be the one to produce the film or advise the script. A British actor is being lined up to play the role of the former Engalnd captain David Beckham.
Meanwhile, it was being reported that Katie was starting to have doubts about marrying Tom.
Katie reportedly told a visitor that she was unsure about making that kind of commitment to the actor.
According to Britain's The Sunday Mirror newspaper she had told the visitor; "I don't have my own life any more. I'm not comfortable."
A source added; "The wedding dress is bought. Tom's two adopted kids from his marriage to Nicole Kidman will be there, but just where and when is up in the air.
Katie is nervous about making a commitment to Tom and the early excitement of their love affair has worn off."

Would there be any reason to see this movie? We have all seen their lives through the media, I doubt there would be any surprises left..
I don't see any sort of resemblance between Katie and even a slightly normaller Posh.
Also, is all of Paramount crazy?

The whole lot of them are crazy. Sadly, Victoria is the most likeable out of all of them (unless you count a silent David). Even if she is ithe most insecure woman on the planet, at least she's funny and has some entertainment value....Katie is as dumb as a board and her hick midwestern accent makes me want to slap her. David, quite possibly, is dumber than a board. And Tom, well, you know....
What is the last part about "oh and tom's kids will be there...katie just has to say the word." Why are his adopted children second rate like that?? You bet Suri would never be an afterthought like this....
Nothing pisses me off more than a statement like this. It's too much of a commitment to marry the person YOU HAVE A CHILD WITH? If its going to be a loveless marriage, I can see why Katie is starting to have doubts. And if they are playing some dumb game with the whole proud parents thing, and Suri is really not who they say she is, I can see why Katie could crack.
I like Posh, but I dont understand why they would make a movie about the Beckhams, what is there to see? ; and Katie bears no resemblance at all to Victoria.
She's actuallly quite smart and got in to Columbia, but left for Dawson's Creek. Why don't you slap yourself?
A lot of people that get in to "good schools" or Ivy League ones have no business being there.
Graduate with a respectable GPA - or anything over a 2.5 and there would be something to talk about.
Getting "into" a school is like "f*king" in prom queen/ football captain in high school and still talking about it at your 20th reunion.

Katie's dad is a prominent attorney with lots of money. It wouldn't take much for Katie to get acceptance into Columbia. Just the right strings pulled. And maybe she is/was smart academically, but getting herself into a relationship with Thetan Tom and getting knocked up doesn't show a lot of common sense.
I went to a an ivy league school myself, thanks, and I can tell you a lot of people who get in are really stupid. Plus there is a way to speak intelligently regardless of where you're from and she makes no effort.
P.S. I know this is a celebrity gossip site and so we bash them/make fun of them a lot. But don't be a bitch to other people on the board; really what's the point of that?
Getting mixed up with this stupid Tom Cruise crap was really smart ... it sure was ... bet she pats herself on the back daily for that brilliant move.
