Hasselbeck lacks that Rosie glow
The transition from Star Jones to Rosie O'Donnell hasn't been easy at "The View," especially not for Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
"She is crying every day," an insider tells us. "No one can control Rosie, and Elisabeth can't contain her feelings. She gets so upset all the time."
Some on-set sources think that Rosie's outwardly liberal views have been upsetting the show's conservative voice.
O'Donnell's spokeswoman denied there have been any tears, and said, "Elisabeth was at Rosie's house this weekend with her daughter, Grace. They might not agree on politics, but that's what makes the show great. Ratings are up 59%."

I've seen the show a couple times lately and I agree that Rosie interupts waaaay too much and definetely should have her own show b/c she's not exactly good at 'sharing' as u might have concluded after seeing her big belly but i still think its funny that stupid little Liz is getting a swift kick in the ass and an education b/c she needs it! That girl is ig-nor-ant!

What? A grown woman is crying when faced with an in-your-face belief system? She should go hang outside an abortion clinic and see how the other half lives.

I thought this said "Hasselhoff cries because of Rosie." Damn that would have been funnier.

I can't stand Rosie so I'll take Liz's side only because she's the lesser of two evils.

And the drama begins....just as predicted....so good for ratings!
I wish they'd kick that little prissy girl off the show anyway. She is completely clueless.

Haha.....Poor Elisabeth.
I'd hate to have their jobs...fighting and arguing all day. After a while it must really be draining. Where's the challenge in that job? Bickering all day wouldn't be fulfilling to me.

I hate Elisabeth, crying over the morning after pill and all that bullshit! Not that I'm a big Rosie fan, not that i'm a Rosie fan at all, but I think I'll tivo it just to watch her make this girl cry
And I thought the thread was "Hasselhoff cries...." too, which really would have been some damn funny reading.

Hmm.. not sure I believe this story. I've watched every day since Rosie came on and the whole show sucks, I can't believe I keep watching. Rosie talks about her kids for the first 5-10 minutes of the show, the transitions are horrible, the chemistry is OFF for all of them and on more than one ocassion, Barbara has said "Isn't this great, we get along so well". That alone makes me think something is up between ALL of them.
Yesterday Elisabeth did talk about her playdate at Rosies this past weekend, so I doubt she would have went if there was such an issue. We all work with people we don't like but still tolerate at work...we just don't have them over for dinner, etc.
I think if The View keeps controversy between hosts "stories" in the media they will keep their ratings high. IMO

I bet Star Jones is laughing the rest of her ass off. I hereby declare that anything that might make Star even momentarily happy, banned forever.

I can't stand either of them so I'd love to see the slapfest Crumpet's proposing.
I'm also starting to think Elizabeth might be the problem. Does she get along with anyone? She's so whiny.
