LOST LILLY HAPPY WITH EMMY SNUB
Hollywood actress EVANGELINE LILLY is glad LOST was overlooked at this year's Emmy Awards - because she doesn't want the show cast and crew to become complacent.
Despite being last year's award-winning drama at the Emmys, Lost received no nominations this year.
Lilly, who plays KATE on the show, says, "My first reaction to it was, 'Good.' I don't want us to become that show that becomes so righteous, so above everything else, that we're untouchable. When we started, our big question was, 'Will anybody even watch this show?' And then when people started watching, we were thrilled. And then when we got recognised critically, we were beside ourselves. So, when we didn't get nominated, all we had to do was remember where we came from."

Evageline Lily claims that she is glad Lost was snubbed by the Emmy's, because she doesn't want to lose touch with ordinary folk. In fact she sounded genuinely more shagrined not to be allowed to bring her knitting needles on airline flights. That is if you would believe a word that a professional actress says. I didn't buy it. No wonder she wasn't nominated, if that's an indication of her acting skills, then she doesn't deserve one. Sour Grapes!

I simply canNOT believe that Lost was snubbed by the Emmys. They must have some CLUELESS people that vote, or else some ballots got messed up or SOMETHING! I mean, it's the greatest show ever in the history of television (in my humble opinion), and yet it DOESN'T EVEN GET AN EMMY NOMINATION???!!?? And Charlie Sheen's lameass show & tired old shows like Will & Grace and The West Wing did????!? Give me a break. A big F.U. to the Emmys from GoldDust77!

I think if it was based on the first season, LOST definetly should've won something. But season 2 wasn't that great imo...

And from Collaroy!! Both for Lost and Gilmore Girls (and posthumously for Buffy). The Emmys are run by a bunch of supermorons! I mean, just how unprofessional is it to snub certain shows out of principle? I used to be mad at Lauren Graham's repeated Emmy snubs, but now I'm past that- really, I can't take the Emmy's seriously any more, what's an award show that's only awarding their cronies? It's not based on talent in any way, I'm not interested in it and I really, really hope that the actors and shows that are being snubbed can see that it's not because of lack of talent, but because of those damn Emmy-dumbasses.

Haven't both Lost and Desperate Housewives been snubbed? And didn't the cast of both shows go a bit batty, after last years noms? Remember that Lost had to fire a couple of cast members, after success went to their pretty little heads. I, for one, am sick of seeing Eva Longoria everywhere.
