No more kids for Michael Douglas or Catherine Zeta-Jones

Hollywood couple MICHAEL DOUGLAS and CATHERINE ZETA-JONES have decided not to have any more children. The pair had planned to add to their brood, DYLAN, six and CARYS three - plus CAMERON, Douglas' 27-year-old son with ex-wife DIANDRA LUKER - but have decided to settle on two. Douglas says, "I think Catherine's resigned to the fact. "She's gone back and forth on the subject, but when she gets back into work, I think she realises that two's enough and I say to her, 'Just think of your stepson as your third child.'".

I think that's a good idea considering his elderly age. Given the current life expectancy (and add in the fact that he's a smoker), dude probably won't live to see his two young children graduate from college.

I know this going against popular opinion because of the age difference, but... I like these two. I have a thing for against-the-odds couples, I'd be -a little- sad to see them break up. It would be so much nicer for them to prove everybody wrong. But I agree that this piece of news doesn't bode too well for their relationship.

Well ... lots of us normal folk decide after a couple of kids not to have anymore and no one thinks anything of it. Why assume that just because celebrities decide the same thing they are automatically headed for divorce court? Frankly, if I were Michael Douglas, I'd be quite finished with kids by now and just want to enjoy life and all my money.
