Robbie Williams apologizes to Take That
British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS has begged his former TAKE THAT bandmates to forgive him for snubbing their recent comeback tour by sensationally inviting them to support his sell-out solo effort. The ANGELS hitmaker cites work commitments for refusing to appear at the UK stadium shows, admitting, "Had I not had a tour and an album coming out I'd have maybe done the whole (Take That) tour." He added, "I'm going to invite (them) to come and do my Close Encounters tour. Do they all want to come and do Milton Keynes with me? If so, they're more than welcome." Williams quit the band in 1995 to concentrate on a solo career.

it's not like he missed much, they petered out into a dollop of pop-tart pap, and he became a superstar. Gee, who got the best out of that deal??!!
