Catherine Zeta-Jones, 36, stepped out for drinks with actor Aaron Eckhart, 37, at the posh Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel on Oct. 14 — the same spot that her husband Michael Douglas, 61, reportedly had angrily dragged her out of back in April when she was dining there with another man. Catherine and Aaron were "laughing and joking around a lot" for two hours, a source tells Star People. Her rep says they were there discussing their co-starring roles in the upcoming romantic comedy Mostly Martha.

She's pretty but not anyone a co-star would want to hit on, IMO. I dunno....she hasn't been sexy for a few years. Attractive, yes; sexy, hell no.

Micheal's become the jerk in the relationship. He's the "horse's ass" in their dog and pony show. Zeta's seen as 'too calculating' because she's been faithful. Knowing what side her bread's buttered on makes her seem passionless and cold. She would've never cheated on Mike, because thatr would've been messing with the money. Now that she's established a career almost indepent of her generous sponsor, she could cheat on him, and come off sympathetic. No one held Jolie againt Pitt. They blamed Anniston! Meanwhile Douglas has outlived his usefulness, like Nick Lechay. He should be thankful if she only divorces him, and doesn't opt for a dose of poison!
Plus it attracts attention, and "Sue Ellen" has a slew of new movies coming up.

Oh, lay off her. I frequent the same bars again and again. Apparently, it is a fave of hers. It is normal for co-stars to meet like that before filming.

I dont know there have been signs of some major problems in the CZ/Douglas camp stemming from the fact Catherine is such a restless bitch and she's horny and she's board as hell. What did grandpa Douglas expect?
I'll say it will be over in less than 6 months

1. Does this mean we have to go back to liking CZJ?
2. She could always just "overexert" him in bed, a la Body of Evidence?

^ I don't know whether it means you have to go back to liking Zeta Jones. It's interesting that you admit Zeta was once a 'well liked', and even popular celeb. The Douglas marriage soured alot of people on her. Most women have a biological clock, Zeta has a cash register!
Hollywood is about image manipulation. Before you all start saying "well d'uh", I think it's worth pointing out that a star, with good image management, can make a turn around. If she steps out on Douglas, it might 'boost her shares'. She'll even do Oprah, with lines like "I knew it was a mistake almost immediatey", and "I felt trapped". She is quite an actress. In the Pitt-Jolie affair, it's Anniston who'se getting the flack. She comes off whiney and bitter.
Zorro's had some mediocre reveiws. Zeta was described as "matronly". That's bad news for a sex symbol. Means she's up for the "your mom is hot" roles. She might need Douglas after all. If the movie flops, the affair is off.
In fact I can imagine her on Oprah, in the wake of a divorve, saying things like "I knew it was a mistake almost immediately", and "I respected Micheal", or "I felt grateful". "Hollywood was Micheal's town, and I was still an outsider." Just to show that though she rich, fmaous and beautiful, she still human .

Probably. They all do eventually. If he weren't part of the infamous Douglas clan, she would never have seen anything in him to begin with. Being with Michael earned her instant credibility as an "actress". That's all she was looking for. They just seem an odd match to me and it has nothing to do with the age difference. I just always get the impression she's looking for her next conquest.
