If there ever is going to be a wedding between Tom Cruise and the fabulous Katie Holmes ™ there probably should be some peace within the family.


Tom Cruise Makes Nice With Katie Holmes Family

Many observers were a bit taken back when reports surfaced that Katie's mom and dad were 3,000 miles away in Florida when she gave birth to baby Suri in Los Angeles.

Now MSNBC gossip Jeannette Walls is reporting that Tom is ready to play nice with Katie's family and make amends on what has been reported to be a tense situation all the way down to the prenuptial agreement.

Walls writes:

Tom Cruise is making nice with his sweetie’s family.

After an “emotional showdown” in which Katie Holmes demanded that Cruise make more concessions to her and her family, Cruise whisked Holmes’ family in his private plane to his hideaway in Telluride, Colorado, according to the National Enquirer.

The family “bonded” with Cruise, reports the tab, which quotes a “family source” as saying, “He didn't talk Scientology once.”

It isn't in the short item if the fabulous Katie Holmes' father and devout Catholic, Martin Holmes, brought up the whole 'perhaps we should get this baby baptized in the Catholic Church' that is surely weighing heavy on he and his wife's minds.

But it is certainly nice to see a report that says that the families are trying to get along.

Even if this is true and Tom didn't talk about scientology (which I doubt as it is all he talks about) I doubt Katies family would be all over Tom from one visit, they can see what he is doing to Katie.
