Michael Vartan, crocodile hunter?

28/10/05 : ALIAS STAR TO WRESTLE CROCODILE

ALIAS star MICHAEL VARTAN has landed his first lead movie role - as a crocodile wrestling journalist.

The actor, who once dated Alias co-star JENNIFER GARNER, will play an American journalist who takes on a man-eating crocodile in ROGUE, according to movie website Moviehole.net.

Produced by the WEINSTEIN brothers, the movie will be shot entirely in Australia.

Vartan starred as JENNIFER LOPEZ's onscreen fiance in the summer (05) romantic comedy MONSTER-IN-LAW.

So he's going up while garner's going down? Alias was rated 70, 2 spots behind "Joey". The show may not last. Ironic if he developed a film career, when Garner didn't. Like they say, "be nice to folks on your way up". She might rue the day that she threw her weight around, and tried to get him fired.
