"I can confirm that Travis filed this morning," Barker's rep, Dvora Vener, tells PEOPLE.

Through her publicist, Moakler tells PEOPLE, "My only concern right now is for the welfare and best interests of my children."

Barker, 30, plays drums for the band the Transplants as well as for blink-182, which is on indefinite hiatus. Moakler, 31, is a former Miss USA who has appeared in films including Big Momma's House 2 and Pauly Shore is Dead.

They were married in a Gothic, Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired ceremony on Halloween eve in 2004 and have two children: son Landon, 2, and daughter Alabama, 7 months. Moakler also has a daughter, Atiana, 7, with her ex-fiancé, boxer Oscar de la Hoya.

The couple's wedding and life as a family were captured by MTV cameras for the reality show Meet the Barkers, which premiered in April 2005.

In early July, they put their 12,000-sq.-ft. Tuscan villa in Bel Air, Calif., where much of the series was filmed, on the market for $8.5 million.

Kind of thought this news was coming when I heard they were selling the house. Not that people don't move, but they just moved into this place (which seemed like their "dream house") and had a kid. When will these young couples learn, MTV reality shows and real-life do not mix well!

I heard she's a skank too. Remember when she was suing Oscar de la Hoya for like $100,000 a month in child support or some rediculous number like that. Then she met Travis and got him to marry her. i never watched the show that much but, the one episode I saw she wasn't really around the kids that much.

This surprised me. I really thought Travis was into her...but she did come across as a little lazy chick, sleeping all day and expecting to be pampered. She seemed like a high maintenanced primadonna. I always thought Oscar De La Hoya got sick of her whiney ass and that's why he dumped her so fast. She was all over t.v. crying when he hooked up with the Puerto Rican singer Millie (whom he married). Then Shanna dated Dennis Quaid for a while....she's looking for a Sugar Daddy--wants to hook up with anyone in Hollywood who has money.

I agree Pretty Girl. She was a beauty queen. She's used to being pampered and getting her way. Everything in her everyday life revolved around superficiality. I think any man would tire of that after a short while.

I'm still shocked that a beauty queen (a) finds a guy that looks like a fishing lure and (b) lives sort of a Bev Hills yet punk lifestyle and (c) manages to show no class or poise at any time.

She was super lazy! That girl was always in bed. I could never figure out what time it was on that show because it was always dark outside and she was always just getting out of bed. I always felt bad for her other kid, the one she had with Oscar De La Hoya. She was the "invisible" kid. I'm thinking Shanna will move on to Tommy Lee.

Bahahaha, I knew they wouldn't last. All their "we're so in love" schtick for the cameras was nauseating. I can't stand either one.

Yeah, even though Travis isn't my type whatsoever, he seemed like a nice guy and he seemed sweet to Shanna's daughter. Speaking of which, Atiana is the spitting image of her dad, Oscar. I always wondered what Oscar thought about them putting his kid on a reality show...you know he tuned in and watched the show sometimes and probably laughed at Shanna's lazy ass.

My understanding is that Oscar has absolutely no part in Atiana's life - by choice. I doubt he cared. He's such an ass. He fathered 3 kids with 3 different women within 14 months and then decided he didn't want anything to do with them. The only one he acknowledged is his newborn son with his wife of 5 years.

Though I didn't follow the show, I have read a few message boards about the show where people expressed concern that Atiana was virtually ignored by both Shanna and Travis. People felt really sorry for her. They said that Travis would simply say hi to her and then act all excited with his 'own' children. Can anyone verify this?
