Is the most fervent wish of every basement-dwelling collector of Princess Amidala action figures about to come true? The New York Post claims Natalie Portman will bare all in the forthcoming flick "Goya's Ghosts," in which she plays the muse of the titular artist.
According to the paper, the doe-eyed actress, who earned an Oscar nod for playing an overdressed stripper in "Closer," appears in the buff during a brutal and completely titillation-free torture scene.
The nekkid nattering comes just five months after Portman told the Times of London she "would be happy to do nudity in a film that was appropriate," but hasn't "because it'll end up on a porn site."
Smart girl.
Unfortunately, fans eager to see Natalie in the altogether will just have to settle for undressing their "Star Wars" collectibles, because it turns out her modesty remains intact.
"There is a brief shot of a body double in profile in 'Goya's Ghosts,'" her rep, Kelly Bush, explains to MSN Entertainment. "It is not Natalie and you do not see anything (breasts, etc)."
Oh, and that report floating around that Portman has signed on to play Harrison Ford's daughter in the long-in-the-works "Indiana Jones 4"? Also not true, her mouthpiece tells us.
Meanwhile, on the personal front, romance rumors are once again bubbling after Natalie hung out surfside with longtime pal Jake Gyllenhaal at a July 3 Malibu shindig tossed by the dreamy-eyed actor's new biking pal, Matthew McConaughey.
"They strolled on the beach together, laughing and having a great time talking," a mole tells In Touch. "He was very attentive to her and seemed to be hanging on every word she said."
While the dark-haired duo has long pooh-poohed talk of hanky-panky (their first denial dates all the way back to 2002), they've remained close-mouthed about the latest rumors, which were sparked after paparazzi snapped Jake presenting Natalie, who has been on-again and off-again with Gael Garcia Bernal, with a bouquet of tulips during a New York City outing in May.
A conclusion-leaping eyewitness told Us at the time, "They had the look of love."
