HOLLYWOOD - Brad Pitt won't marry Angelina Jolie because he is still hurt by his divorce from Jennifer Aniston, his grandmother claims.

Betty Russell, 82, claims Pitt opened his heart to her during a telephone conversation, following the birth of his first biological child with Jolie, Shiloh Nouvel.

She says, "Brad promised his last wife on their wedding day they'd be together forever, and they didn't make it. He is a sensitive soul who just wants to make sure he can keep his promise this time around."

Pitt also gave an insight into how he has taken to fatherhood and his relationship with the actress and their two adopted children, Maddox, 4, and 18-month-old Zahara.

Russell adds, "Brad has always wanted to have children and he is playing the father role very well. The family loved Jennifer. But he has got Angelina now and seems really happy with life.

"(Brad is) very close to (Maddox). He confides little secrets to him."

This is my favorite quote of the whole story, "(Brad is) very close to (Maddox). He confides little secrets to him."

Like what does he actually confide to his newly adopted kid who is I think 5 years old. He tells him his mom gives good blow jobs?

Betty and Doug seem to give a lot of quotes to tabs. Interesting isn't it? So many here slam Chinniston for using her friends to get her comments in the press. Apparently Brad the Cad doesn't have enough friends to do this for him so he resorts to grandmas and brothers.

You're so right Bella. I remember reading so many "Doug said" stories back when Brad and Jen were signing adoption papers for a new baby.

Just WHO did Grandma Betty give this interview to? Doesn't seem to say. He's hurt by the divorce? Don't think so.

I hate these kinds of crapola stories.

^^Oh see I TOTALLY buy the story. Grandma Betty gives lots and lots of interviews. Brad the Cad has mentioned her by name. My guess is her quotes are accurate otherwise this mag would have a nice suit filed against them.

The family 'loved' Jennifer. It seems as if everyone's over Jennifer (including Brad) except the Pitts themselves.

Ummm....this isn't quite how I recall it. Aren't they the couple notorious for kind of agreeing to take things as they go (paraphrased) in their vows? Didn't they speak in an interview where both agreed that they didn't really see anyone staying together forever? For that reason alone, I wasn't surprised when they split up. Anyone going into a marriage with that attitude can't possibly make it.

My gut tells me the Pitts aren't as impressed with Ange las they were (are?) with Jenn.

Let's see if Brad estranges himself from Grandma for spilling the beans as Jennifer did with her Mom!

I call bullshit. I've heard Doug Pitt is the designated spokesperson for the family and he will only speak to a couple sources. The Pitt family are very private people, so nope, not buyin some quotes from Grandma.
