The super-skinny reality show star reportedly fainted while doing a little retail therapy. Richie — who has admitted that she’s too thin but has denied that she has an eating disorder — collapsed while browsing at Kitson, a chic LA boutique, on July 15, according to Life & Style.

“She was looking through a rack of clothes when she suddenly fainted and hit the floor,” an “eyewitness” told the mag. “The staff helped her to a chair and offered her something to eat. She shot back, ‘No!’ and mumbled something about it being ‘so hot.’” Although Richie turned away food, she did accept a glass of water, reports the mag, and after about 20 minutes “was steady enough to leave.”

Richie’s rep couldn’t be reached for comment, but a spokeswoman for the store denies the incident.

this is so sad...i heard that her and that stylist of hers get fat blockers from mexico and that is why they are so skinny

Those fat blockers don't work. The plain and simple truth is the girl is starving herself so she can be as skeletal as paris.

No it's normal, hypoglycemia is the usual cause of fainting spell, so people will immediately give you some sugar or a sweet drink...I know because I faint all the time

When she vehemently refuses food (although clearly, she's not getting enough caloric energy) you know she has a problem.

She is very very skinny but not wanting food after fainting is not uncommon. I faint when it's too hot outside and the last thing I want is some food. I will just come right back up anyway. I would take the water also due to dehydration. I doubt someone offered her food. Don't blame her anyway. It could be someone trying to poison you these days.

Oh please, why don't these things happen at Marshalls or the local grocery store? They always happen in the most recent "hot spot" so that all the paps are sure to catch it. Blah. I can't stand these chicks.

LOl yes, she fainted because it's hot in an air conditioned store.. not because she's 80's soaking wet and has an eating disorder.

yep, when I see someone collapse in public, the first thing I do is reach for the rat poison.

Oh please! It's hot outside. When you are underweight and you walk into an air-conditioned store the change in temperature could make you pass out. You don't have enough fat on your to regulate your body temp. Hell, she's gained a little weight. Why all of a sudden after a few years of being underweight would she pass out now. Just doesn't make sense. Besides, would you take food from someone you didn't know? Kind of naive if you did.
