Fox news correspondent ROGER FRIEDMAN claims Cook was cheating on Brinkley as far back as 1996, when the couple first started seeing each other.

Friedman says the-then-37-year-old Cook was seriously dating 19-year-old singer SAMANTHA COLE at the same time he was romancing Brinkley.

Cole says she has been contacted by Cook in the last couple of days to tell her there could be renewed interest in their relationship, thanks to the new scandal.

She explains, "Peter asked me to marry him in May, and in June he was engaged to Christie. Neither one of use knew about the other."

I saw the interview with the mistress and she is almost childlike. She even looks like a 16 year old. I can't imagine what she looked like when they first met. It was almost pedophilish. Is that a word?

She was like 5 foot tall and she had a boyish figure.In the interview she said that she regretted what she did but, in all honesty I think she kinda regrets being caught. There is evidence that she did try to break away from him by moving to Brooklyn but, he followed her like a dog in heat. What pisses me off about this guy is that he had other girlfriends(allegedly) while he was with this girlfriend. Plus, he calls up Smanthat Cole and basically tells her to stand by because he's gonna be single soon. What a dog

Yet another woman being made a fool of by her husband who thinks with his "little head". Same old story that so many women go thru... (And the exact reason that no matter how much my husband does to earn my trust, i will NEVER trust him--simply because he is a man.) I feel bad for Christie for naively believing this man was faithful to her, and i feel bad for the two young kids who are having their family unit being thrown into upheaval because their dad couldn't keep his p*cker in his pants around the young chix.
