Aaron Spelling's will details revealed

On Friday (14JUL06) American TV show ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT obtained a probate filing on behalf of the deceased producer that includes details of his will.

Producer Spelling died last month (JUN06) sparking a public war of words between his wife and his estranged daughter over the circumstances surrounding his death.

Tori has lashed out at her mother after finding out about her father's passing through an email message from a friend and not from her family.

Candy hit back at Tori by releasing a statement saying, "We are deeply saddened that, during our time of loss and grief, we are forced to respond to the media frenzy caused by the mean-spirited and surprising comments made by Tori to the press, just two days after the passing of Aaron."

Media reports at the time claimed Tori could be excluded from the will and miss out on receiving any of her father's estimated $500 million (GBP278 million) fortune.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Spelling's estate has been left to a trust, which indicates that details on the exact division of his massive fortune will most likely remain confidential.

Doesn't the executor of a will get nothing which is in the will? I remember my mom telling me something about that, she has a legal secretary diploma.

I don't think so. I am the executrix of my mother's will, and I fully expect to inherit a modest sum. My mother has been very upfront about it.

I fully want to know the details of the will. If I had to read about old Canadian women and see her boob job since high school I deserve to know.

I'm betting Dean McDermott is one extremely happy man now. Spelling's death could not come at a more opportune time for him.

No. I was the executrix and sole heir of my father's will. Being the executor just means that you handle the details, such as hiring the lawyer and seeing that any final bills are paid, etc., when the person passes on.

Where did she get her diploma from?!

Not true at all.

Anybody can be the executor, heirs or not.

I asked her about it, and she said that's what her professor told her, and she quizzed her professor about it because it didn't seem right to her, but the professor would hear none of it! She got it from CDI College, they're like a career-training college that has campuses across Canada. But they obviously were very wrong!

So why the bad blood between mother and daughter?

better after Tori spoofed Candy on her VH-1 show "So noTORIous." "Many people speculate

that this is the way for Tori's mom to get back at Tori for years of feuding," Szish

revealed.

Neither Tori nor Candy Spelling are commenting today on this real-life Spelling drama.

I thought they were feuding because Candy was having an affair with a family friend.

I have to hear all the time how my SIL is the executor of my MIL. Why do we care? My husband doesn't expect a dime and will be happy if he doesn't have to pay anything. Has anyone else had problems with fighting over wills, etc?
