(KP International) Apparently Michael Douglas was having a run-of-the-mill holiday with his children at his summer home in Majorca when he was attacked by a jellyfish. Luckily the 61-year-old actor had his son Dylan in tow, who luckily had a full bladder.

"I took my kids down to the ocean the other day and we had a little problem we have jellyfish," said Douglas. "I got stung actually pretty bad, across my back. There's sort of a remedy that we've all heard if you have a bad sting urine. So I asked my five-year-old son if he would pee-pee on my back."

A way to relieve the sting or the start towards an interesting fetish? "He looked at me like he'd gone to heaven," Douglas said. "He was like: 'This is what I call a good summer holiday! Pee-pee on daddy's back!' I don't know if it helped at all, but my son was happy."

Douglas is next appearing in the comedy You, Me and Dupree. The film, which costars Kate Hudson, Owen Wilson and Matt Dillon, hits theatres today (July 14).

Actuallly, peeing on the wound is the right thing to do if you get stung by a jelly fish. Peeing is also something to do in a public shower, as it will help combat all those lovely athlete's foot germs lying around on the floor. Pee is a wonderful thing, people!

Eh, how many stories have we read about people on a boat adrift at sea who had to drink their own urine or die of dehydration? OK, probably not that many but it has happened!

Oh come ON - everyone has pee'd in the shower at one time or another. Fresh urine is perfectly safe and sterile - the water sitting in your toilet has more germs.

We get a few jelly fish every summer at the beach here in town. They are rather small and don't seem to bother anyone ... they certainly don't seem to be a deterence to the mob of children who hang out there all summer.

I think the most creepy thing I've seen at the beach to date was a dead sting ray washed up on the sand. Yuck.

Actually, urine is only sterile while in your bladder. As it exits the body, it picks up all of the natural flora and fauna present down there.

I'd rather deal with the jellyfish sting than get peed on by Paris Hilton

Regarding jelly fish stings, peeing on the sting is, actually, not the best treatment. There are two treatments - vinegar or baking soda - and use salt water only to make the baking soda paste. Using fresh water will make it worse. Vinegar works for most run of the mill jellyfish, baking soda + salt water for portuguese man'o'war stings.
