She's an asshat but she probably did the dog right.
Clearly she can't take care of anything or anyone including herself so while the dog is in a cage at least he will be cared for in a safe environment.

Maybe she knew she couldn't take care of him & that's why she left him there--he will probably get a better home w/o her anyway.

even if she DID come back to get her dog why would they in good conscience give it back to her? you KNOW the dog's stroke was caused by all the flippin drugs she probably put in it's Kibbles 'N Bits

I've been told German Shepherds last roughly 12 years so he is approaching doggy heaven, just a shame he can't be placed somewhere nice to enjoy his last year(s). What a shame you spend your life with that bitch and then end up in a cage, I feel like crying

The woman overdosed in front of her kid, and Frances made her a cup of tea while waiting for the ambulance - now if you can do that in front of your kid, the dog is not even a thought in her head. At least she dropped the dog off where it could get medical attention instead of letting it suffer and die all alone!

The dog is way better off without her. The kid better watch out, she could be abandoned to live in a concrete cage if she isn't careful.
