Kate Bosworth's 'eye trouble'

Hair dye was high on the shopping list when blonde Kate Bosworth was cast as brunette Lois Lane in the new Superman flick. But the actress has revealed she was worried the physical changes wouldn't stop there... Kate thought her eyes would be up for discussion.

The actress has the condition Heterochromia - where both eyes are different colours - a la David Bowie.

But Superman Returns director Bryan Singer decided Kate's blue and brown eyes were perfect and tossed the contact lenses away.

Kate explained:

"One of the first things I had to do was a screen test to see if Bryan Singer wanted to keep them the way they are, and he decided he wanted to.

"So now the Lois Lane dolls have different colour eyes, which is pretty strange."

I have always loved her eyes. I knew someone with two different eye colors. It was very trippy to look at them in real life.
