Police quiz Antonio Banderas after loud cries for Spanish team

Antonio Banderas was so loud while cheering on his native Spain in the World Cup on television, police were reportedly called to his California home.

Neighbours were so concerned by "unearthly screams" emanating from the Malibu pad Malaga-born Banderas shares with wife Melanie Griffith as his soccer team crashed out of the tournament in the second round against France, they called cops.

When officers arrived, reports PageSix.com, Griffith greeted them at the door and explained, "Oh, that's Antonio yelling for Spain in the World Cup."
