Depp Wants More Babies But No Wedding

HOLLYWOOD - Hollywood star Johnny Depp is planning a third child with partner Vanessa Paradis but insists he will never marry her.

The couple have been together eight years and have a daughter, Lily-Rose, 7, and son Jack, 4, together.

But Depp has no intention of walking down the aisle with the French singer/actress because they are already effectively 'husband and wife.'

He says, "The thing is, if you are together and you love each other and are good to each other, make babies and all that, for all intents and purposes you are married."

I always wondered what his reasons were for not getting married, but I was too lazy to look it up when I thought about it.

Well marriage isn't everything. I really want to get married one day but I see no reason why some people think you have to. Like my nan who says I'm living in sin.

didn't he say in a different interview that he would marry her but didn't want to ruin her name since it meant paradise. He said that if she proposed he would marry her.

Yes he said that if one day she come up to him and proposed OR if their kids asked them to marry then he will without any doubt. But then Vanessa herself said that she doesn't want to get married and want things to remain the way they are.

I dont blame him for not marrying. For him, every single time he met a girl, the dumbest thing for him was to marry her or about too. Maybe he's taking learing from his mistakes even through he's settled down. Marriage doesnt have to prove how much you love some one.

I am sure if they have been together this long and have children and are perhaps thinking of more, they are very commited to each other. If it works for *them* why change things by getting married?
