Lindsay Lohan's dad inspired her to stay "away" from drugs

MEAN GIRLS star LINDSAY LOHAN is grateful to her disgraced father MICHAEL for turning her off drugs. The 20-year-old admits she has tried cannabis but will never experiment further because of the way her jailed dad acted when he took hard drugs. Lohan is convinced developing an early drug habit would have destroyed her fledgling career, and she is thankful to be revelling in the more challenging roles she is being offered. She says, "I've seen my father. I've seen how it messes with families and f**ks your life up. If I hadn't witnessed that, I may have gone a different route. But I've seen how it tore my parents apart. "I feel I have a lot of talent, but I'm only now getting to do the kinds of projects where I can push myself and show what I can do. "I'm pretty ambitious and I want to have a very interesting career."

lol thats funny, I said the same thing about drugs cuz of MY family. It was a lie when I said it too.

I said the same thing about drugs because of my Dad being a heroin addict and being COMPLETELY messed up, and its not a lie for me.

I reallywant to believe that Lindsay is being honest about this, because if she really means what she said about seeing her Dad mess up his life, I can relate. My dad scared me away from drugs.
