Yeah, I don't think it's a coincidence that all of them were Happy Family Showcase material. She leaked them herself. And now she's trying to cover it up with this half-assed attempt. I don't think even a tabloid like Us would publish those private photos (inside hotel rooms and private jets) if they were stolen. That's just asking for a lawsuit for no reason. There's plenty of pap photos of her to risk that.

NEW YORK, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Personal vacation photos that were staged by her PR firm and belonging to Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were recently alledged to be stolen but were sold in a desperate attempt to spin the family in a positive light post Lauer and to provide Kevin with much needed money for blunts and 'walkin' round'. Following the supposed theft and real sale, the photos were published by Us Weeklywho was the highest bidder. While the photos depict very staged by the PR staff happy family vacation memories, the couple are nevertheless outraged and saddened that that the photos brought so little money and no one wanted the nekkid ones of Kevin and their staged private family moments appeared in the magazine without enough money to pay to press "Popozao" or to convincingly deny their knowledge or consent after the photos were alledgedly stolen but really sold by an unknown perpetrator named Britney Spears. The matter is currently not under investigation because this is all a smoke screen to disguse what a publicity whore Britney is, and Spears and Federline are evaluating all of their legal options and looking for a buyer for their other nekkie pictures..

Keep on digging that hole Britney, pretty soon you'll be deep enough so that we won't be able to hear your annoying voice.

That's it Brit. Keep talking about the pictures to keep them in the press for a couple more days. Wait a couple days announce that you've hired a lawyer to keep them in the press some more. Sham marriages are awesome!!

Seriously? I'm shocked at how many celebrities "lose" their cameras. Do they honestly think we are idiots? If they were smart about it, they would take their own photos and have a friend broker the deal so they make money on shots of themselves... DUH!
Now the Angelina "stolen" photos that were on her brothers camera just seems too hokey to believe. Then I read today the secret service was involved in retrieving the memory card. Give me a break, don't they have better things to do?

And the pictures that are leaked are wonderful (RELATIVE) candids, why wouldn't you want everyone to see them?

Scavenging Britney's Scrapbook
by Sarah Hall
Britney Spears is taking on the "false tabloids" one more time.
In a statement released through her record label, the expectant mother said
she and husband Kevin Federline were "outraged and saddened" that photos of a recent family vacation to Miami were published by Us Weekly after they were stolen by an "unknown perpetrator."
Though the photos "depict happy family vacation memories," (as opposed to the usual shots of unkempt trips to the local convenience store), Spears and Federline were considering taking legal action against the magazine for publishing the pics without their permission, according to their statement.
The alleged theft of the photos remained under investigation.
In response to Spears' claims, Us Weekly issued a statement denying that the magazine had resorted to illegal means in order to obtain the photos.
"Any charge that Us Weekly stole these photos is preposterous. The magazine acquired the photos strictly through legal means," a spokesperson said.
It's certainly not the first time Spears and Us Weekly have butted heads. To review:
In December, the pop star sued the celebrity-fueled publication for $20 million over a column in its Oct. 17, 2005 issue that claimed Spears and Federline feared that a "raunchy" video of their bedroom exploits would become public. According to the suit, said "X-rated tape" does not exist. Us Weekly's rebuttal: The magazine said it stands by its "credible source" for the story.
In March, Spears posted an angry missive addressed to "false tabloids" on her official Website in which she tore into Us Weekly, In Touch and Star for employing "liars." Us Weekly's rebuttal: "Unlike other magazines that pay for access to Britney, the writers at Us Weekly have high journalistic standards and do their own researching and reporting for all stories. Our coverage of Britney has proven to be accurate."
In February, Spears said she was "disturbed" by Us Weekly's decision to publish her "private honeymoon photos." Us Weekly's rebuttal: "Coming from a celebrity who sold pictures of both her wedding and her stepdaughter, it's unlikely the issue here is privacy. Could it be that Britney is seeing red after not seeing the green from these photos? Britney Spears should start a magazine if she'd like to dictate her own coverage."
On the last point, Spears and Us Weekly see eye-to-eye. In her recent Dateline train wreck, er, interview, the "Oops" singer told Matt Lauer that she wanted to start up her own publication. "You know what? I need to create my own magazine," she said. "These people like--I mean, they want stories to sell and they're very good. I need to come up with my own magazine and say the real deal."

Why are you wishing that unholy disaster upon the fine folks of Louisiana? They're still working on the huge mess in NO, and don't need another one.
