Church tries to give up drinking

Charlotte Church has asked for her mother's help as she tries to give up drinking.

Maria Church has told doormen at Charlotte's favourite Cardiff pub that the star isn't to be allowed entry in future.

A source told the Daily Star, "Charlotte's whole family is supporting her. She's done really well recently, cutting her drinking down. And they know she can quit completely if they're there for her."

Church believes that alcohol may be responsible for her recent mood swings and voice problems.

"When I'm sober, I'm laid back, but if I have a drink I can't control my temper," Charlotte explained. "So I've cut my drinking down to once a fortnight plus I've given up smoking. And alcohol has started to ruin my voice. Now I want to see if I can go without completely."

Whaaat???????? Why do people who are blessed with talent even if they are dumb in every other way ,do this to themselves??Oh. I think I answered my own question then. Oh well.

Too much too soon, before they're equipped to handle success without letting it go to their head. Never mind that I think too much success and power can often make any normal person go nuts and out of control.

At least it sounds like she's taking a step in the right direction. I always found it funny and ironic that she was called the girl with "the voice of an angel" and then she turned out to be such a "bad girl" with the partying, drinking, smoking and bad attitude. So good for her.

Thats what happens when you are young invited to every to every party/event.
Its good she's recognizing it now before she looses everything she's worked for.
