Nicole Kidman's children arrive for wedding without Tom Cruise

NICOLE KIDMAN's children ISABELLA and CONNOR have arrived in Australia for the actress' wedding to KEITH URBAN, without their father TOM CRUISE.

Isabella, aged 13 and 11-year-old Connor arrived at Kidman's Sydney Harbour mansion with their grandmother JANELLE after flying in on a private jet from Tokyo, where they had been on a publicity tour with their dad.

Kidman and country star Urban will marry this weekend. They have kept details fiercely guarded, but the nuptials are expected to take place in on Sunday (25JUN06).

A marquee is currently being erected at a Catholic church in the Sydney suburb Manly, where the wedding is expected to take place.

YAY!! Nicole has her kids out of the clutches of that madman TomThumb & His Merry Band of $cientologists. If i were her, i'd do everything in my power to KEEP them, and not hand them back over into the care of that lunatic. If i were her, i would be desperate to get my kids "de-programmed" in my time with them. Those poor kids...Imagine growing up $cientologists, having life in that horrible cult be the ONLY way of life you've ever known, actually BELIEVING that we all have "alien spirits" attached to us, and that the human race came from some distant planet, brought by some overlord/alien named "Xenu"... Imagine having THAT crazy stuff be your "reality" (and thinking the ENTIRE REST OF THE WORLD is wrong) and not questioning it because it's the only truth you've ever known! I feel bad for Isabella & Connor (and all other victims of that crazy cult).

Is this the first time they have seen their 'mother' this calendar year????

Tom sure isn't exactly the model parent, but neither is she.....
Cannot decide which is worse actually.

That was my first thought - don't ever send them back! Their lives are so tightly regimented & they are forced to study not only school but scientology as well. I feel for them. Nicole & Keith would make better role models & allow them to be kids aside from soccer.

I read somewhere that Tom makes it too difficult to see them. That he calls constantly & questions them about every detail & hates that she lets them eat junk food & doesn't force them to study Scientology. She apparently had a crying fit over it - who knows.

Maybe she just chooses to keep her time with them mostly private, unlike the ex who doesn't seem to mind using every single sporting event as a photo op for himself.

Nicole appears to do a very good job of keeping her personal life out of the media. Even now, she isn't out and about giving interviews to everyone about getting married, jumping on furniture, and making a spectacle of herself.

Tom should take notes.

That was very interesting, and discussed both sides of the Nicole/Creep Cadet children dilemma. My gut tells me that there is a bit of truth in both sides of the story. Nicole may be youth-obsessed and eerily Botoxed, and perhaps she has been more distracted by her own petty interests, as the article implies. But I still think the kids would be better off with her because she appears to be more in contact with reality than Creep Cruise is. Also if the kids were with her full-time their lives they wouldn't be exposed to that Scientology crap, or the weirdness of TomKat. Can you imagine being thirteen, and having your dad come to your soccer game and making out with his young girlfriend on the sidelines with paps snapping pictures? Ugh! Poor Isabella!

Have to admit to a bit of a soft spot for Our Nic, but she doesn't *seem* to see the kids a lot. Or is it that she just isn't snapped with the kids a lot? There's also the business of Tom's control over the kids and geography... I think she'd probably be a better parent, just because she's not in the papers with the kids all the time doesn't mean she's not doing her bit.

I would love it if in the future Connor and Isabella teamed up and wrote a Mommy Dearest style book about Tom, Scientology, "Kate" and "the baby", etc
