NEW mother Angelina Jolie is getting back in shape — thanks to a mix of yoga and GARLIC TEA.
Pals say she has already lost some of the 25lbs she put on before giving birth to daughter Shiloh.
One pal said: “Angelina looks radiant. She has told everybody she isn’t dieting and has lost weight simply by breastfeeding and yoga.”
Angelina, 31, who gave birth by Caesarian, started drinking African ginger root and garlic tea after being introduced to the drink in Namibia.

Re: Anjolina Jolie's garlic tea diet to get back in shape
This is very common. I know of a lot of people who swear by teas to lose weight.

Re: Anjolina Jolie's garlic tea diet to get back in shape
She would have to eat to keep up a healthy milk supply. Where can I buy some of that tea? I love garlic but garlic TEA sounds nasty!

Yes garlic tea sounds weird, I wonder what kind of breath it gives, too
I drink gallons of tea but do not lose any weight (not that I need to), I think it's a healthy habit but not really a diet trick, or at least not for me

it is a diet trick if you don't eat after drinking it
Quote:
In Mexico, or Spain for that matter, garlic tea is served up for coughs or colds. People swear by it! The garlic oils inhibit cough and cold microbes, and they are effective decongestants. Lemon juice reduces and thins mucus, which makes it easier to unclog a stuffed up respiratory system. Lemon juice also changes the body's pH, making it less hospitable to viruses and bacteria. Adapted from Prevention magazine.
3 cups water
3 garlic cloves, cut in half
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

that sounds gross. I'm all for incorporating garlic in meals but I couldn't drink any beverages tasting like garlic.
I thought garlic wasn't good for vampires?

I drink 1.5 liter of green tea almost every night after dinner, but I see no slimming effects. The only way to make it a diet trick would be not to eat before, either

Lemon tea is great for losing weight and keeping healthy in general. Have a cup right when you wake up, do a bit of exercise before eating and after breakfast you will have the bathroom visits of your dreams.

her breath is going to be gross. I guess that's the price you pay for staying below 100 pounds. I hope she also eats healthy, she was looking scary-skinny before she got pregnant.

She barely gained 25lbs what does she have to loose? Poor thing has like 4% body fat now! This diet sounds too good to be true anyway.

I tell anyone who wants to try garlic tea to be careful. My day drinks garlic with hot water and honey (about once every night) and it turned out that when he started to sweat his sweat would smell like garlic. It was horrible.
