SIMPSON'S DAD BLASTS LACHEY SPLIT REPORTS

JESSICA SIMPSON's manager father JOE has blasted ongoing reports his daughter's marriage to NICK LACHEY is heading for divorce after detailing the romance of the couple's Italian getaway.

The music executive admits he's baffled by the stories that won't go away, because the reality TV couple couldn't be happier.

He says, "They're still together... They just got back from Italy, where they were taking their anniversary vacation; they spent time together and they had a romantic dinner.

"Nick rented some museum place and had an orchestra and had an opera singer sing and they had a candlelight dinner. (It) sounds like a divorce to me."

He says they're still together in the sense that they won't always be...sort of like it's just a matter of time. Quite frankly, does anyone really care anymore? And are we sure the whole divorce rumor wasn't started in order to turn up the publicity heat as her movie came out?

I wonder how Pervy Joe's own marriage is faring? I bet that estate has some attractive gardners and pool boys! Tina needs some kind of fun while Joe follows Jess around peeking in her windows!

I was going through a cheerleading supply catalog the other day and I came across a page devoted to Cutouts. They are lifesize cardboard cutouts of your child in their cheerleading or sports uniform that some parents like to purchase and display in their homes. As soon as I saw it, it immediately reminded me of Creepy Pa Simpson. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a few Jessica Cutouts.

I just saw this and had to post it. Jessica showing that she's wearing her wedding ring a couple of weeks ago. She was out to dinner with Ryan Dunn from Jackass.

Anybody who has ever checked out at a grocery store or passed by a news stand knows they aren't getting along. Who the hell do they think they're fooling? THEY NEED A D-I-V-O-R-C-E ASAP.

That last ep of Newlyweds said it all. Nick looking hurt and Jess looking angry. And I think Nick's the one who wants out (to date other people), so I don't know why he doesn't initiate. What kind of contract did he sign with the devil - er, I mean Joe Simpson - that's keeping him from it?

Ok for starters, I don't believe it. First off, Jessica would probably spontaneously combust if she ever set foot anywhere near a museum. Secondly, I can't see Joe letting anyone who actually has professional training as a singer (the opera singer) anywhere near his daughter. I mean it might make Jessica realize what a crappy singer she really is. And Finally, as for the candlelight dinner, I mean, don't you think that quite possibly she might set her hair extensions on fire from it.

To quantify my second statement, I mean, I guess Joe would let an opera singer near Jessica if, and only if, she was young and had big boobs. Then I could see it.
