Kate Beckinsale: 'Young actresses are spoiled'

KATE BECKINSALE insists that young actresses starting out today have a much easier time than she did, because they all have a team of stylists and publicists helping them.

The UNDERWORLD star claims even a few years ago, stars had to do everything for themselves and weren't pampered by a team of handlers.

She explains, "I look at these girls now, KEIRA KNIGHTLEY and LINDSAY LOHAN - and it's terrifying. When I started in England, nobody knew what a stylist or a publicist was.

"You turned up looking generally like s**t. You'd done your own make-up. You're 19, so it's bound to be awful.

"I was grabbing flowers off the breakfast tray and putting them in my hair, saying, 'Does this look nice?' before my premiere at Cannes. That's really, truly what it was."

I´m sorry to say this, but Kate Beckinsale is a stupid, greedy bitch. I´m sure she´s saying that because she wished she had all that when she began, and more, she´s probably jealous or worried about the competition this chicks are bringing up for media attention and even work. Why would she mention Keira AND Lindsay anyways! Go away Kate.

I agree with her. And when I look at her photos from when she was young, she wasn't stunning at all so I have to wonder if she had anything done. Then again, makeup and light hair seems to work wonders doesn't it..

^I think she's had a nose job and new breasts and she always wears weaves. I remember her from when when she was young and I agree, she was nothing to look at at all.
