KATIE HOLMES' sex scene in new film Thank You For Smoking WILL be seen by moviegoers - despite reported opposition from husband Tom Cruise.

In the flick, Katie, 27, will be seen romping with co-star Aaron Eckhart.

Director Jason Reitman said: “It’s humorous humping. It’s Katie and Aaron gyrating back and forth.”

A spokeswoman for makers Fox Searchlight, added: “The film has never been altered. It will be released with the scene.”

Rumours that the sex scene would not feature in the film, in which Katie plays a reporter with Aaron as a lobbyist for the tobacco industry, began when it was cut from the premiere.

Reitman then blamed a “technical glitch.”

I already saw this movie and the "sex scenes." No nudity...but I had to divert my eyes because I kept imagining her with Tom Thumb. My only consolation was the lack of a turkey baster in the 'sex scenes.'

I saw Eyes Wide Shut [stupid crap movie] ... there is one scene in the bathroom where they are, if I remember correctly, nude and standing in front of the mirror. She's in front and he's behind. You see her in the mirror. Him ... there might have been a brief butt shot, but I don't recall. I've mostly tried to erase the entire thing from my memory.

I've seen EYES WIDE SHUT. It IS a crappy movie, about nothing. The whole movie was to show NK's itty bitty titties and small body.
