Singer Kevin Aviance Leaves Hospital after Gay Bashing

Singer Kevin Aviance was released from the hospital this evening after being gay bashed in New York City's East Village this weekend. He was wheeled out of Beth Israel hospital wearing some hot diva sunglasses and a rainbow-colored sleeve. You have to admire him for still being fab. It's a true symbol of PRIDE as we celebrat Gay Pride month!!
His attorney Jay Sanchez made this statement to media:

"Kevin is in a lot of pain, mentally and physically. He faces a long road to recovery." "We all know it (gay violence) is happening out there all the time," Sanchez said.

Kevin, of course, can't speak because his mouth is wired shut; but he did mouth the words "thank you" with his lips to the media. His mouth will be wired shut for two and a half weeks, right in the midst of Gay Pride Month.
He says he'll still participate in the Gay Pride Parade on June 25.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg called the attack "a disgrace."
