(BANG) - Jon Bon Jovi has named Frank Sinatra as his biggest idol.

The rock legend loves the late crooner so much he read Sinatra's biography 'The Way You Wear Your Hat' twice in two months.

He said: "What I really got from that book was that Frank was a great ideas guy. He was the guy that made things happen, whatever he was doing."

The 44-year-old singer - whose 2000 hit 'It's My Life' was reportedly inspired by Sinatra - also admits he wished he'd had a chance to meet the 'New York, New York' singer before he passed away.

He said: "One of my few regrets is that I never met him. It would have been quite an engaging conversation to have. I'd love to sit and talk to him now."
