'The Omen' star Julia Stiles has confessed she is obsessed with cemeteries and likes to visit them when she has the chance.
(BANG) - Julia Stiles is obsessed with cemeteries.
The 'Omen' star - who plays the mother of the Antichrist in this summer's horror remake - has revealed her bizarre obsession and says she visits a graveyard whenever she gets the chance.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I have a morbid fascination for cemeteries. I think they are really beautiful and peaceful places. I like the way people decorate gravestones."
Meanwhile, Stiles, 25, has revealed she was plagued by nightmares while shooting 'The Omen'.
The actress says she was haunted by strange dreams containing "religious imagery"
She said: "I don't know if it was me getting paranoid and generally psyched up for the role, but I had horrible nightmares the whole time we were shooting - images from the original film and religious imagery."

I find it a bit odd, personally.
And scary!
I love them too. I found a house that I wanted to buy - right next to a cemetery... Where else are you going to find such peaceful neighbors?
^^^Too funny and I think you're on to something!!
I am only interested in a cemetery if I have relatives buried there, or I see names of people I am sure I have known. I always feel weird walking around, as if I am accidentally stepping on people. Does that make any sense?
I like Julia; she's a great actress and I enjoy watching her performances.
I know what she means about cemeteries being peaceful and beautiful, but I also find them creepy. My brother and his friends used to chase each other around the graveyard up the road at night, Ever the thrill seekers, lol.
I don't find this strange, but then again my family has always had a fascination with cemeteries, too. We like the old old cemeteries. It does sound morbid, but we look at how many people in a certain family are buried there together, the dates they died...things like that. It is so weird to stand there and see a whole family buried together and see that they died within a 6 month period.
Hubby and I (well, I think he just tags along to keep the peace) like to go to Civil War cemeteries. We went to one on our honeymoon (yeah, real romantic
) and it was in the Mammoth cave area. The one that stuck in my mind was a man who died in one of the caves, but they couldn't get him out and bury him for like 10 days. This was like back in the early 1900's.
Someone had put a can of soup and some vienna sausage on his grave...not sure at all what that means....
I made hubby stop at several cemeteries in Louisiana. They fascinate me.

I have never been afraid in a cemetery. I have visited my sister's grave at night more times than I can count, and I have never been afraid or even had any 'weird feelings'. You don't have anything to fear in a cemetery...
THE EASIEST WAY OUT IS THROUGH....
Is she necrophiliac?
When I heard *cemetery fetish* I expected to hear she liked to fuck in cemeteries. THAT's a cemetery fetish. She's boring.

Louisiana and all the old, southern states have gorgeous, beautiful cemeteries. It's reading the tombstones and imagining their stories, their lives that fascinates me. Anyone ever been to Pere-Lachaise in Paris? BEAUTIFUL!! Not to mention, Jim Morrison is buried there.![]()
haha thats so cool, I live REALLY close to mammoth cave. yeah that guy was a cave explorer and stuck under a rock, i think.Originally Posted by sweetrebel
