Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's reason for choosing the name Shiloh for their daughter may not be as inspired as one might think. According to a published report, a reader e-mailed Page Six and reminded the illustrious tab legend that Shiloh just so happens to be also the name of Vince Vaughn's imaginary friend in "The Wedding Crashers."
In the flick, Vaughn's character says: "I had an imaginary best friend, too, and his name was Shiloh. Shiloh and I used to play checkers together every day and - God bless him - he always let me win."
Maybe that's why there are reports that Jennifer Aniston cried over the birth of baby Shiloh Nouvel. It goes like this, Aniston's loyal friend, Tiffany Laws tells Star magazine: "Jen just burst into tears ... She tried to cover it up in front of Vince but he assured her it was OK to cry .... I think she had the feeling, 'That could have been my baby.'"
Duh, that would have been how long? two years ago. No, it's the choice of the name.

I agree that this is a bit too far to stretch in an effort to scandalize every little thing about this Brangelina/Vaughinston thing.

its a terrible name regardless of where they got it. my friend had a horse named shiloh. no joke, it was spelled the same and everything.

Some how I don't think Ang and Brad are even aware of that reference in the movie because they simply have not seen the movie.

Yes, Brad and Ang sat down one night with popcorn and Raisinettes and watched WC and said, "OMG, THAT IS WHAT WE'RE NAMING THE BABY!"
