Let this be a lesson to young lovers everywhere.. do not get your body inked with tattoos of their name, nickname or any other form of labeling.. for you will live to regret the amount of time and effort it takes to get rid of after a (gasp) break-up.
Ask Denise Richards. According to a report in TMZ.com, she is stuck with the tattoo of soon-to-be ex-husband's name on the inside of her ankle until and unless she is willing to spend weeks of treatments required to make it disappear.
TMZ reports their research led them to learn that total removal time can take from 6 months to a year, and won't leave scarring. The process simply fades the tattoo with each visit until it disappears.
A celebrity owned tattoo removal service, Dr. TATTOFF, who boasts ex-Brady Christopher Knight as one of the owners, says it takes "less than a year if you show up on time, but this being L.A., who knows what people's schedules are like."
And according to CEO James Morel, it's not terribly expensive: "...typically to get a name erased, you're looking at $200-400 per visit, and could take 5-10 visits to have it completely removed."

My comment has nothing to do with Charlie or Denise but I just find it funny that this article is written by someone whose first name is an electronics company...

I think getting an SO's name inked on your skin is a monumentally stupid idea under the best of circumstances, but in this case? I bet she really, really regrets it.

I predict she'll hit him up for the cash to have it removed, saying that he 'forced' her to do it.

Of course she will. She's never done anything without being paid for it...
