HEATHER MILLS' best friend and publicist MICHELE ELYZABETH has confirmed the model-turned-activist feuded with stepdaughter STELLA throughout her marriage to former BEATLE SIR PAUL McCARTNEY.
Elyzabeth has gone public in a bid to clear up reports her client was determined to drive a wedge between her husband and his children after she became his wife in 2002.
She insists it was designer Stella who created problems because she refused to get along with her stepmother.
The publicist explains, "Heather really does not dislike (Stella), but it's true that for several years she said to me that she tried to do everything she could to get along with Stella.
"Stella would not make a move to meet her half way. I knew there was a feud."

Well, I kind of believe this since Stella comes across as a world-class bitch.

Then again, a grown woman should stay out of daddy's business. Nothing worse than grownup kids getting involved in thier parents love lives. He's old enough to know better so let him sort it out.

She could only see 'young woman, gold digger after the old mans money and trust in people" Maybe she had an instinct about it?

Fair point. I forgot the whole pot-head angle. I wonder if she'll spill about his daily intake?

I'm just a little suspicious, a little, that Stella is behind the sh*t storm of bad publicity fouling Heather's airspace right now.
Doesn't seem like Paul's style to publicly shame his child's mother with pron dirt. Charlie Sheen he's not.
Could it be that Stella had HM-M's background documented as insurance and as potential leverage against future "gold-digger" shenanigans with dear old Dad and his billions?
Now they've split, it's claws out and fangs bared.

Well, Stella has been moaning in the past week or so about being sent to the local state school when she was growing up, saying she was bullied and won't be doing the same with her kid. I have to wonder if she was bulllied because of who she is (PM's kid) or who she thought she was (don't you know who I am?). She just seems like a complete and utter bitch. I think she'd have to be to be great friends with Madonna.

Paul married her way too soon after his wife's death. Stella wasn't a child, she must have known they weren't right for each other.
Why insult the daughter when your are in the middle of a divorce? It's not going to help you out in the long run!

ButtMunch, I totally agree. Paul had been through enough heartache with losing his beloved wife Linda. There mother was unfortunately gone forever; their father was not--he still had quite a bit of living left to do. His kids should have just been happy that he found someone who put a smile back on his face. I mean, he married Heather at age 60...Why couldn't his kids have just been greatful that Dad had someone in his life to live out his "golden years" with, instead of being lonely? And like you said, if nothing else, AT LEAST adult children should just STAY OUT of decisions involving their parent's love life! Paul is a grown man who can make his own decisions, good or bad. And his kids have no right meddling in his business, and it is unfortunate if they made him feel awkward or bad about his decisions (i.e. marrying Heather)...It's his life, and grown children need to just let their father live his own life, good decisions or bad decisions.
VadaFaith, I too have thought to myself, "I wonder if Stella might be behind this whole wave of anti-Heather stuff coming out in the media." Like you said, i canNOT see Paul digging up dirt about the mother of his child.... Stella has always struck me a as a cold b*tch, and where she always apparently had a vendetta against Heather for marrying her father, i could see it as a possibility that Stella had people dig up this dirt on Heather. The timing is just too convenient & coincidental--with this 20-year-old matter just so happening to have just now been suddenly discovered & coming out now, when Paul & Heather are splitting. Maybe Stella's been sitting with this information for a while now, and was chomping at the bit to let it out so as to smear Heather's name in the press, but didn't want to embarass her dad (since it was his own wife)...So now that the marriage has crumbled, Stella probably said, "Yay! I can finally let out that bad stuff i dug up about Heather!", all psyched that she could finally "bring down" her "nemesis", now that she can finally embarass Heather without embarassing her father in the process. (although Paul is of course still hurt & embarassed by this stuff about Heather coming out in the media--just not AS MUCH as he would have been if it had come out when he & Heather were still together.) I could see this happening. Who knows. Just a hunch.

Stella's attitude toward Heather only makes her look like a spoiled, jealous and immature brat that can't accept her dad loving someone else. She was hurting her father too by treating Heather bad. Her mother can't be replaced but why not let her father be happy? It doesn't really matter at this point now that they're getting divorced but I wonder what Stella will think of the next woman in his life.

Well, maybe Stella knew that Heather was not right for Paul and was trying to warn him. If that is the case, it looks like she has been proved correct. Now if the next woman Paul goes out with is sweet and saintly and Stella is awful to her, ok I will concede that Stella can be bitchy.
