'Crash' star Thandie Newton feels nothing but regret when she thinks of one of her first Hollywood acting auditions, because she was instructed to simulate an orgasm, according to a published report. shudders at the memory of one of her first Hollywood auditions, because she was ordered to lie back and simulate an orgasm in front of the camera.

It's business as usual in Hollywood. Many times actresses are asked to take their clothes off for auditions. There are a lot of actors and not that much work. People will do what it takes.

Apparently, Roman Polanski used to make chicks audition this way:
he'd make them suck on his finger and give it a "blowjob," because if
they didn't, then they didn't really want the job. (This is according
to his own biography, Roman.)

The question is, how does the chick know it's not a "test of character"?
Does she stand to make a better impression if she says, "go fuck yourself"?
Or is the director just doing this as a prank, because the casting was
already a foregone conclusion?

Don't know why but I find this funny as hell. I mean, who cares if she faked the big O to try to get a job. Most of us do it for nothing - actually, I fake not having them to keep the guy working harder. Meg Ryan did it onscreen for cripes sake. Grow a backbone and say "no" or stfu!

MAYBE just maybe Thandie wouldn't have minded it so much had she been the one to get the movie role instead of jLO???????????? Is she being a sour grape?????????????

But still a sucky thing for her to endure knowing it was used for a private viewing session...
