The Paul McCartney marriage break up turned increasingly bitter last night amid claims Heather only had their baby to please him.

In a new development, one of Miss Mills' closest friends has now spoken out in defence of the model.

During an interview on American TV show, Extra, Michelle Elizabeth claimed that Miss Mills only had a baby to please Sir Paul - and risked her life in so doing.

She said: 'It was very hard for her to have the child. Heather has metal pieces in her pelvis and doctors said that she should not have a child but she went through it because she actually loved Paul.

'She's being attacked from everywhere. It's horrible. I need to speak, even though she was not really up for it.'

The claim was quickly denied by Miss Mills MCartney - but it only served to fuel the acrimony between the estranged couple.

Miss Mills McCartney is considering spilling the beans on her break-up with Sir Paul on a US talk show.

The model is expected to appear on CNN's Larry King Live when she hits back at claims surrounding her marriage break-up, according to reports in the US. She has already been on the legendary host's show several times, which has reportedly given him the edge in sealing a deal.

She is also expected to defend a series of lurid photos in which she modelled in hard-core pornographic poses. Last night her lawyers denied she had ever appeared in a "hard core porn" photo shoot following allegations in a national newspaper. The lawyers said the photos, which showed Lady McCartney in lurid poses with a male model, were taken for a "lover's guide" and were not part of what is claimed to be her "filthy past".

Miss Mill's lawyers also denied the estranged wife of Sir Paul had a "pornographic past" which she kept hidden from the former Beatle. They said the photo shoot took place 20 years ago for a sex and relationship guide.

The letter said: "This photo shoot, undertaken approximately 20 years ago, was for the purpose of a 'lover's guide' to caring relationships and instructive sex in the same way as are many other books on the market.

"The photo shoot was not pornographic or for the purposes of gratification of the viewer."

The statement said it was widely known that Lady McCartney had posed nude while working as a model in the past and that Sir Paul was aware of her work.

Most recently Lady McCartney appeared on Larry King with Sir Paul to debate Canada's seal cull with one of the nation's top politicians.

She gave a feisty performance on the hour-long show in March, when the couple were visiting the country to protest against the practice of slaughtering seal pups for fur.

During an appearance in 2002 Lady McCartney stunned King when she took off her false leg and popped it on his desk.

She and the former Beatle announced last month that they were separating after four years of marriage. It has been reported that Lady McCartney could receive up to £200million in a divorce settlement.

OMG! She has said NUMEROUS times how much she wanted to have a child--this was PRE PAUL!!!! She had several miscarriages with the other losers she was with prior, and wanted a child DESPERATELY!! How in the world can she actually say differently? LIAR!!!!
For the record, anything she says I will hate on her for....but this, seriously, she's just lying.

actually she didn't say it. It was one of her so-called friends. And her camp did deny the claim. Personally, I think she may have had the kid for a bigger pay-out, but I'm just a cynic.
