Will Smith dishes advice to Bruce Willis
31/05/2006 12:00:00 AM
(KP International) The former 'Fresh Prince' Will Smith apparently substituted as a Dear Abby/Dr Phil-type for fellow actor Bruce Willis.
When the '16 Blocks' star was going through his tough divorce from actress Demi Moore, he sought advice from Smith who had gone through a similar situation. Smith has managed to balance his previous marriage and child with his current wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, and their children.
Willis, 51, had to figure out how to deal with the three children he shares with Moore, 43, as well as her new husband, 28-year-old Ashton Kutcher. Smith's sound advice seems to have paid off. "We couldn't be happier," cooed Willis. "Holidays we just laugh the whole time. Everybody's together. We did something at the time that seemed like a small decision, but now it's a huge thing and we get a lot of compliments on it we put the kids first. It's hard to do. It's hard to set aside anger and resentment, but if you can do it and put the kids first it's just great. I have to thank Will Smith for that, he gave me that advice."
