Bon Jovi glad to steer clear of drugs

Bon Jovi has said that he is glad that he is not a drug-addled rock star like Pete Doherty, and instead enjoys a glass of fine wine.

Referring to drug-using rock stars, he said: "Those people get a lot more attention. Like Pete Doherty. I hear he's great. But I've never heard a Babyshambles song in my life… I'd rather be doing what I'm doing.”

He continued to The Guardian: "I have a nice wine habit, but I was never into drugs. Why do I need something that's going to grind my teeth all night and won't let me get it on with a woman?” (<--- )

Well, Im glad he is clean too, but something about this guy really gets on my nerves, and I don't really know why. He is like the Kirk Cameron version of rock I guess?? I think he is a good person and does good for others, but somethin' bugs me, can't put my finger on it...like he enjoys tootin' his own horn too much, like Oprah.
