An insider tells the Daily Express, "Johnny was asked if it would be a deal breaker for him if Kate was cast.
"He said, 'Not as far as I'm concerned.' He figures there's been enough water under that bridge.
"Obviously he's (director Nick Egan) hoping there's still enough chemistry between them that will translate to the screen.
"It has been claimed she never got over him and in the film they'll have to appear deeply in love."
Hutchence was found dead in a Sydney, Australia, hotel room in 1997.

Wow, considering how Depp "goes into character" for his roles...I will not be shocked if 1) he relapses into his bad-bay, drugs & alcohol inclinations, 2) he and Kate do spark it up on and off set, and 3) he gets an Oscar nod.
I hope he survives this one, personally and professionally.

Theres nothing on Imdb yet......so it wont be until 2007/8 at least. Cant say i really see Kate Moss in such a major role...............a bleached blonde Amanda Plummer would have been better.

I remember reading years ago that he was all set to get back together with her and then found out that Vanessa was pregnant. I'm guessing that Vanessa is not too happy about this.

Could be Brangelaniston all over again!! What should we call moss and depp................mepp...................doss? I dont think Depp is the type to leave his wife and kids....................i HOPE Depp isnt the type to leave his wife and kids!!!! Still if i was wifey i wouldnt be keen on the idea. They dont need the money so why take the chance?

I will definately watch this movie. Sounds great. Not sure about Kate Moss as an actress but anything Johnny Depp is good to me!
