Pitt And Norton To Play Famous Explorers?

Brad Pitt and Ed Norton may re-team for a mini-series playing famous American explorers Lewis and Clark.

The pair are producing the 10-hour saga, based on Stephen Ambrose's book Undaunted Courage.

Norton explains, "We have friends who've been pointing out that there are some funny echoes, similarities between Lewis and Clark and us.

"I don't have any prejudice against it. At the moment, we're acting as good shepherds for the project. It's being written now."

Norton, who starred with Pitt in Fight Club, claims Undaunted Courage was one of the "most page-turning books I've ever read."

The actor was so inspired by the novel that he decided to produce the project with Pitt for US network HBO.

I love Ed Norton. HBO does seem to be more popular than movie theatres! Brad Pitt, hopefully he has a small role.

I will pass on it if it has Pitt in it. He has always seemed greasy and dirty to me.

I am looking forward to this, although it's kinda been done before (Centennial, a rockin' mini-series made in the late 70s/early 80s, based on the book by James Michener).

Undaunted Courage, the book by Stephen Ambrose, is a great read. Private lives/messes aside (*ahem* Brad), I hope the two actors will do justice by it. If it's HBO, they'll probably have freer artistic license than if it funded by a big studio, which focuses only on money.

Play them at what? I thought Meriwether and Willy had died. Even if such is the case, I still put my money on team L&C: Norton might be able to take them on his own but not with the Pitt handicap.

i loved them together in fight club but i've been hot for edward norton since primal fear
