What Taylor Hicks & Katharine McPhee Will Sing on American Idol By Gene Byrd

American Idol marathon have been revealed. Finalists Taylor Hicks and
Katharine McPhee will sing three songs each.

Taylor will sing 'Levon' by Elton John and 'Living for the City' by Stevie Wonder.
The new song he will sing which will become the Idol single is called 'Do I Make You Proud' written by Tracy Ackerman, Andrew John Watkins and Paul David Wilson.

The two songs Katharine will sing that she has already performed includes her stellar performance of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' and 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree.'
The new single she will perform is called 'My Destiny.'
But wait that won't fill two hours.

Sources revealed to TMZ details of Wednesday's night 'American Idol' finale.
The show will feature songs by prolific composer Burt Bacharach, with Dionne Warwick performing her 80s hit, 'That's What Friends Are For.'
Other Bacharach performances will include Bucky Covington's rendition of 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head,' and Kevin Covais singing 'What's New Pussycat.'

17-year-old Paris Bennett is scheduled to duet with Grammy-winning vocalist Al Jarreau.
TMZ has also learned that this year's female contestants will take the stage for a medley of girl-power themed songs including, 'I'm Every Woman', Aretha Franklin's 'Natural Woman' and Shania Twain's 'I Feel Like a Woman.'
Last year's 'Idol' winner Carrie Underwood and 2003's runner-up Clay Aiken are also scheduled to perform on Wednesday.
