Difficult Birth: Is Angelina Jolie Still In Labor? By Lynda Johnson
May 19, 2006 With Angelina Jolie's thin frame, many were concerned that she may have a difficult time giving birth. Reports from Namibia say that the sultry actress went in to labor in what would now be over 13 hours ago.

Jolie in Labor? Difficult birth? The world waits
At around 9:00 EDT in the US, 'Extra TV' reported the mom to be was in labor. Is she having a difficult birth, is she even really in labor? Or has she given birth already?

There are several factors at work.
From all glances, the couple appears to have the paparazzi and reporters at bay with help from their extended security network and even the government of Namibia as they have already expelled some reporters from the country to protect Jolie's privacy.
Second, the initial report from Extra had a great headline, "News From Namibia: Angelina's in Labor!" but the TV's web site toned it down a bit in the story saying that she 'might be in labor.'

Other reports have stated the birth could come any day now.
But remember Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are the masters of misdirection - so it's hard to tell if she really even is in labor.
She could still be pregnant and still waiting. Just like the rest of the world is doing.

Extra appears to be the only major American outlet that has given that report. None of the other entertainment media outlets have anything reported at this writing, all are working off of Extra's initial report.
So - it's anyone's guess.

wat the hell are they doing in Africa? i like how she stomps to her own trumpet, but damn, sometime I think she's just a flat-out freak and i don't picture her having any friends, like other people do.

You are right, I never see Angelina with anyone but her kids, Brad, or her mom. I've never seen her with any friends. Sorry, I know some people aren't people persons, but damn most of us have a couple of gal pals.

^^I can relate to her...lol honestly I do have friends..but 80% of the time..I am just not interested in talking..or dealing..with them ..or going out..
I think she is just one of those really fragile people who are deeply worried about what others may think of them, to the point where they don't bother with anyone...I like her a lot..but she seems really insecure.

Only 13 hours ... that's nothing for a first labor. Mine was 18 hours and most of that was a dry labor because they broke my water early thinking it would speed things along [which it didn't]. I think my cousin was around 24 hours, and some women are in labor for a couple of days.

Jeez, she seems tough as nails to me, but maybe you see something that I don't. In fact, I read somewhere that she admitted being unable to get along with women because, as she put it, she's not "sensitive".

My thoughts exactly. I was in labor 26 hours. So exuse me if I chuckled a bit at 13.

actually, i do know of one friend that Angelina has, Holly, who is also her personal assisstant. She is the woman you always see her traveling with, a brunette. i read somewhere that they have been friends for years.

Supposedly they were also lovers at one time as well.
