The O.C. star Mischa Barton has demanded a pay rise.

The 19-year-old actress, who plays troubled teenager Marissa Cooper, apparently wants a six figure sum for each episode that she appears in.

"Mischa's the star of the show, and she feels her salary should reflect that," a source told The Mirror.

One possible reason for Barton needing more cash could be her relationship with Cisco Adler.

"Mischa winds up paying for a lot of their dates," the insider added.

Hey wouldn't it be funny if she got a pay raise, and there was "no term" stipulated on her contract and then the killed her off on the episode before the pay raise goes into effect.

Maybe in her own delusional mind... the last time I checked the show wasn't about a troubled teenage boy from the streets named Marissa who is adjusting to life in the OC. The only kid on that show who can claim to be the star (if any of them can because it's really more of an ensemble cast) is the guy who plays Ryan.

ITA. I can't believe this shit. i hope she gets killed off. Or weeded off the show like Crissy from "Three's Company" they booted that bitch after she demanded a pay rise, after claiming she was the star of the show.
