May 18, 2006 Katie Homes and Tom Cruise are reportedly getting married sometime. And now that Nicole Kidman has admitted she and Keith Urban are headed towards spending their lives together a published report is claiming that the two may be in a catfight over the adopted kids.

In an online Enquirer article an insider reveals to the tabloid that "tension has been building up for a long time, and now with both of their respective summer weddings inching closer, it's ready to boil over."

Insiders say Kidman has been secretly steaming ever since the Dawson's Creek cutie won Tom's heart in April 2005 and started playing mommy to Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, the children Tom and Nicole adopted as infants.
"I think Nicole is livid with Katie for monopolizing her children," says the insider. "She feels like she doesn't get enough time with Bella and Connor as it is. Nicole is fiercely protective and she loathes the fact that Katie is taking on the role of mother to them.
"To Nicole it feels like Katie is not so subtly nudging her out of the picture."

It certainly does appear that Katie spends way more time with Nic's kids than she does. The fabulous Katie Holmes' summer was basically sent in soccer mom practice with Cruise in LA with the kids.
But - both Isabella and Connor are set to be in Nic and Keith's Australian wedding according to one report.

Was basically spent sucking face with her gay boyfriend at his kids' [photo op] soccer games more like.

Well if she is literally trying to steal the kids..then duh its wrong..but I'm sure Tom wants her to be the new MOMMY.

I see both sides here. I can understand Nic's feelings of insecurity with regard to Katie being in the picture. She needn't worry though - Katie will have her hands plenty full. It's apparent Katie adores Tom's kids and if I were Nic, I'd at least be grateful someone is eager to be a good step parent. Most such arrangements can go horribly wrong.
